Who we are

Dr Tom Nicolapoulos at Ease Osteopathy
Thomas graduated from RMIT University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy).

His career has allowed him to work in chronic pain clinics, sporting facilities, and private clinics, exposing him to various conditions and patient demographics.

Continuing to develop his education and hands-on skills, Thomas has undertaken additional studies and has a special interest in sporting injuries, neck injuries, TMJ dysfunction, and concussion management.

Thomas is passionate about firm hands-on treatment, using an array of Osteopathic techniques and dry needling. During an appointment, he often combines treatments with exercise prescriptions to achieve better patient outcomes.

Thomas prioritises ample time for a thorough case history and assessment to better understand the injury and educate the patient on their condition. He aims to pass on this understanding to help patients manage their pain and achieve their goals of returning to normal function.

Thomas strives to be an approachable and relatable practitioner to any potential patient, making their osteopathic experience informative, fun, and enjoyable.

What does an osteopath do?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that focuses on the neuro-musculoskeletal system - nerves, muscles, bones and connective tissues of the body.

The underlying principle of Osteopathy is that the body's structure and function are interconnected, and disturbances in the neuro-musculoskeletal system can affect overall function and health.

Osteopaths believe that addressing the problems in the neuro-musculoskeletal system can aid the body to heal itself and improve overall well-being.

In Australia, Osteopaths are government-registered allied health practitioners who complete university training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general healthcare diagnosis, and osteopathic techniques.
